Yellow Balau is a dense tropical hardwood whose high oil content and tight grain provide natural resistance to rot, decay and insect damage, making it a long‑lasting decking choice. Its boards feature warm tones from golden‑brown to pale red that can weather to silvery grey or be oiled to preserve their richness. The timber accepts stains and oils well, so it’s easy to customise the finish, and it suits gardens, balconies, pools and spas. For installation, use 4.5 × 65 mm stainless steel decking screws.
